The HIFIvers were a troop of soul and funk enthusiast active from 2008 to 2014. During that time the managed to record two EPs and - what was very unusual at that time - two 45rpm singles. Remember: Streaming wasn't yet on the horizon and vinyl still a thing for a small sub-culture (the now famous my45 plant was just Andy B, who delivered the 2nd HIFIvers 7" personally to the release show venue).

After they disbanded a number of them followed Treetop to what ultimately became the Ancient Cosmonauts.
