The HIFIvers were a troop of soul and funk enthusiast active from 2008 to 2014. During that time the managed to record two EPs and - what was very unusual at that time - two 45rpm singles.
This single was taken out of the debut "The HIFIvers play Raw Soul" EP.
Both the mid-tempo A-side "Got Myself Some Bucks" and the up-tempo flip "What You Lookin' At?" showcase the specific blend of funky grooves with distinct bluesy undertones sprinkled in that defined the band.
