Feed LA - Fast Cash - Up in Stratosphere, 7" 45rpm single

Feed LA, a Berlin-based collective, came into existence in early 2020.     
 
No strangers to the improv jazz and funk scenes, the members of the band have been part of Germany’s underground music scene since the early 1990s. After self-releasing two singles, Feed LA’s self-titled full-length album premiered in 2023. Since its release, the album has garnered the band an international reputation among collectors and fans of genre-bending, improvised music. 

The band’s creative process embraces freedom from the very first moments of recording. With Özgür Bayraktar on keys, Daniel Ray Gahn on drums, Michael Treetop Voß on trumpet, and early collaborator Jeff Özdemir on bass, they cut each session live to tape – even from the earliest stages of songwriting.

They describe their style as “Free Pop,” a blend of jazz, funk, and pop instrumentation, with a touch of vocal accompaniment.

Feed LA’s newest single, “Fast Cash - Up in Stratosphere,” backed with “Back From The Future,” offers a preview of what’s to come.                
Limited run of 300 units pressed on black vinyl, featuring a special 45-only B-side not available on the full-length.
